Flo Dauner

Flo Dauner grew up in Stuttgart in a musical household — his father was the pianist and composer Wolfgang Dauner. He played his first public concert at nine and made his first recordings at fifteen.

At eighteen he moved from Stuttgart to Berlin and worked there as a live and studio drummer. Two years later he went to Boston to study drums and composition at Berklee College of Music.

In 1993 he returned to Germany and became the drummer of Die Fantastischen Vier. More than eight hundred concerts have followed, among them the first MTV Unplugged set by a German band in 2000. With the band he also appears on The Voice of Germany.
